ACPA recently announced the appointment of Dr Dimitri Kopanakis as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company. Dr Kopanakis will commence at ACPA on Monday 7 March.

ACPA students performed at the annual NRL Indigenous All Stars game on February 12th.

ACPA’S Head of Music Nathaniel Andrew is embarking on a partnership with the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music which is part of the University of Tasmania this week in Brisbane. The partnership will launch The ACPA Gospel choir as part of the performance curriculum for students at ACPA.

The Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts (ACPA) and QPAC present the new voice of young Aboriginal performers with their show Knock Knock, combining music, acting and dance to create a tapestry for a unique pattern of renewal. The focus changes from storytelling through movement, music or mimetics, but always stays on the extraordinary performers of ACPA.
